Encryption services

While security concerns over satellite are growing, encryption is quickly making the transition from optional to obligatory.  GLOBCOS ensures that content goes only where authorised. The company allows its customer to send or block signals to receivers as appropriate. Encryption can be embedded in each receiver, or be smart-card based.

Currently, GLOBCOS supports the following encryption systems:

• Viaccess-2, Irdeto-2, Neotion, Conax Encryption systems
• Subscriber Management System (SMS)
• Smartcard activation
